Privacy policy

Portfolio Engine is a private personal and family portfolio and document-management application operated by Bobby Brenman. This policy describes its Google Drive and Gmail connections and this public information site.

Information accessed

When you authorize a connection, the application receives OAuth credentials and can identify the connected account. Google Drive read-only access permits viewing and downloading files; the document workflow uses configured folders and file metadata. Gmail read-only access permits reading messages, labels, and attachments; the intake workflow uses configured labels and searches. Information may include file identifiers and names, message senders and subjects, snippets, dates, attachment content, and financial facts extracted from documents.

How information is used

Information is used to locate and organize financial documents, identify investment notices, prepare records for operator review, and support private portfolio reporting and analysis. The application does not use these Google permissions to send email, alter messages, or modify or delete Drive files.

Storage and access

OAuth credentials are stored on the operator's computer in files restricted to the local user. Downloaded documents may be stored locally. Imported metadata, extracted financial facts, and processing history may be stored in the application's private hosted database and associated backups. The operator and people authorized to use the relevant private records can access those records. Infrastructure providers process information as needed to supply hosting, storage, and related application services. Google information is not published on this information site.

Sharing and Limited Use

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. It is used to provide the application's user-facing portfolio and document functions. Information may be disclosed at the account holder's direction, to service providers supporting those functions, or when required by law.

Portfolio Engine's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention, revocation, and deletion

Imported records and documents are retained for the operator's ongoing portfolio, financial-record, and document-management needs until removed by the operator. Backups may retain earlier copies until their normal retention periods expire. You can revoke future Google access in your Google Account connections. Revocation does not automatically erase records already imported. Contact the operator to request deletion of imported information and stored credentials; any recordkeeping obligations and backup limitations will be addressed with you.

This public site

These pages have no analytics scripts, advertising, account forms, or application login. The hosting provider may process standard request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site.
